I agree this is more than a wishlist item, I now have 3 machines with this chip, and I’ve only been able to get DRI working on 2 of them. And I am not able to compile it I have given hours away for this. The default color depth is still 24 bits, so I must manually change it to In my experience, driver support on Linux was never great for those cards and I don’t think it’s been a high priority to continue support.
