Light scratches or mild nicks possible. The 1st drive I hit with it was certainly 20 yards past anything the Taylormade had produced, maybe a bit more! Nice review you put in here. The rest of the drives with the XL were awesome and lots more consistent than I ever played, which gave me the confidence to play the rest of the hole and reach the greens in regulation for many of the par 4 and 5 holes. Average off the tee is about with a slight at time too much of a draw.

Everyone seems to be buying the Burner. In tkur minutes after discovering the problem, I almost eliminated my dreaded hook. Going with Hibore XL instead. However, I was wondering if anyone experienced teeing height on this club a factor? My swing speed is generally between mph. The replacement program is over.

Adams d head did the XL Tour in and hihore would have cost me too much in length and overall performance to keep the Cleveleland in the bag! I have seem to have lost some distance. The Canadian ask me if I would like to try it but I am not hitting very far yet.
Gotta hit it in the top half of the clubface. Back to the XL, and after a few shots started to hit high straight balls into a head wind from the left.
Overall, both models produced an extremely consistent ball flight. I plan on hitting both but wonder tout other peoples experience has been. My drives would balloon with tremendous backspin and fall short. It is strange to look at when you first put it down, but the more you play with it, the more comforting it becomes.
Conversely, every single XLS Tour we checked was on to within.

Since that time, I have been getting very untrusting and erratic outcomes off the tee within the last few months after getting it back from TM. I was shocked, but the HiBore XL had me blasting it. People who bought this also bought. Being in the Middle east there arent too many shops around let alone courses. Could not hit it to save my life.
For anyone who might be thinking about getting a 3 wood HiBore to go along with the driver, think about an Aldila shaft. What worked best for me was the 9. I had tried some TP version Taylor Mades, but when I had the tech at Golf Smith check the loft and face angles on their equipment it became evident that TM has no quality control whatsover.
Posted 02 September – I agree with Art that best results come from smooth swings — high with nice roll and very long. Nike was out of the running almost immediately, Taylor Made wanted me to do too much manipulation to the shaft and head in order to bring my spin down, Callaway was perfect in every facet but the spin was still to high.
